April Passover Plan

Dear OREGON Prayer Team,

I want to send out a quick note to you before Worship At The River. There has been a ground swell of interest and excitement regarding the PASSOVER weekend in April. We are tentatively going to restrict the number of people that would be a part of a dinner to those with been part of our home-based Fellowships. Delight Petersen and Shadley have talked as well as I'm sure many others who would be part of the planning and preparing for this event ..and we want to host this dinner as part of the weekend's plan.

SATURDAY, April 23rd, we would gather on Mount Tabor in the afternoon at around 3:00 p.m. for the more formal, crafted PROCLAMATION over the city... then gather with around 50 or 60 others for the Passover dinner after sundown... say around 7:00 p.m. I believe the dinner would be part and parcel of the whole weekend.... as we celebrate the dinner we would include Scripture reading, worship, blowing of the shofar and trumpet etc. We are not sure of the location at this point.

The following Sunday, April 24th, we would gather together with a larger group.. in the afternoon, including very possibly the folks who've been sponsoring the 24 hour HOUSE of prayer in Portland.... and perhaps others throughout the state including folks I've talked to in Bend, Salem, and maybe even Hood River.... and we would gather together at O'Bryant Park...

How is this all sound to you?
